Fawn was just pulled from California and came to us, we have had her to the vet, lightly sedated, and her teeth looked at. Our needs for her will be posted behind the Find Out More button. Please feel free to take a look at Fawn's Story.
My name is Joe, and I own & run Love A Pit Rescue in Yamhill, Oregon; with the assistance from my wife and our on hand help. We are a nonprofit organization focused on the rescue, assistance, education, and benefit of Pit Bulls and other power breeds. Training, Rehabilitating, and empowering responsible ownership. Along with vaccine, food, and other community outreach as we have the resources.
Advocating, volunteering, and donating are all key parts of making our mission work. You can be a part of it. There are many ways to Advocate.
Portland Pit Bull Parade
Pooches On Parade
Portland Pet Expo
Miami Coalition Against Breed Specific Legislation (mcabsl.org)
Replace Denver's BSL
And many more ways to get involved. The more knowlege about these breeds, and the more these breeds are seen in the public as well behaved dogs, the more we will make a change!
Volunteering at your local shelter or rescue benefits not only our power Breeds, but all other animals involved.
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
As an organization we can tell you, out of pocket we can keep a shelter going. Without donations, the extras become difficult. Flea Treatment, Shade Covers for Dog Runs, Toys, Bones & Chews, the list goes on and on.
Your generous gift will help us fund our mission to help those in need. Together, we can make a difference.
