Please Excuse Our Dust
Michelle almost lost her life before her journey even began. Due to an error at the shelter, Michelle could of died. She was HW+ and treated with a preventative, which could of killed off a large clump of worms and thrown her into a heart attack. Heartworms is part of her past now. She has been treated, and cleared, and remains cleared 3 years later.
Michelle has had a family a couple of times. She was returned from both. As you can see from slide show above, she has been around kids. She had an altercation with a cat there. We weren't there but there was lack of socialization of cats, and an accidental greeting involved. Cat was punctured but otherwise fine.
Family 2 was in an apartment, and she has a weird anxiety of noises over her head, so because of noise issue, she was returned.
Also both families have reported her being dog reactive on leash when allowed to get away with it, with both returns she shown signs of this at first, but fast disappears under our control. That being said, Michelle needs a firm handler that can keep her in line. Beyond that, this now 5 year old Pit/Boxer mix is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever want, and loves to cuddle, and spend time in the bed with you.
Who wants to open up their hearts, and their home to this beauty?
